Year 3 RE - Church Visit

Year 3 really enjoyed their visit to St. John’s Church in Yeovil.  We were welcomed by Rev. Graham who explained the different areas of the church before we took part in a treasure hunt.  We found five coins spelling the word ‘JESUS’.  Rev. Graham shared why Jesus is so important to Christians.  We identified the altar, pulpit, pews, font, stained glass windows, organ and ladies chapel.  We had the opportunity to ask Rev. Graham lots of interesting questions about Christianity and also got to meet a very friendly dog called Poppy!
