Year 1 PSHE - Feelings (Sadness)

Today we talked about the emotion sadness. We linked this to the well known film “Inside Out”. We first discussed what makes us sad (such as unkind hands, not sharing etc.) After that, we watched a clip of Inside Out where Bing-Bong was sad. Joy couldn’t cheer him up with her happiness, however Sadness cheered him up by listening and talking about his problems. She even gave him a hug. We then discussed ways to deal with our friends or others being sad.
