Year 1 DT - Christmas Biscuits

Today we made Christmas biscuits! First, we talked about how to be safe when cooking and we created a list of rules to follow.  After that we got into our groups and began to bake. We carefully measured out the ingredients using scales. Then we put the ingredients altogether in the small bowl. Next we rubbed the ingredients together to make crumbs and balled the dough together. Then we had to roll the dough out gently using a rolling pin. We selected our cutter that we chose when designing and cut our biscuits. Finally, we put them on a tray ready to be put in the oven. They smelt delicious!
