Year 1 Autumn Walk
Today we explored our school grounds looking for signs of Autumn. We noticed the air was much cooler and some things in nature were changing. We hunted for different colour leaves and observed the different trees that were just beginning to change colours. We talked about the parts of a tree - naming the trunk, branches, twigs and bark. We also talked about things we found such as helicopter seeds, conkers, berries and brambles. We will spend the next month being ‘Season Detectives’ and trying to spot changes that are happening all around us!
