World Thinking Day 2026

Celebrated since 1926, World Thinking Day is a day of international friendship. It is an opportunity to celebrate the Guiding and Scouting Movement. It celebrates the birthdays of Lord Baden-Powell and Lady Baden-Powell.

Children at Huish who attend Guiding and Scouting Groups across the town were invited to wear the uniforms to school. Children wore their Squirrel, Beavers and Scout uniforms and also their Rainbow, Brownie and Guide uniforms.
